Support for New Democratic School in Huamachuco, Peru

Posted by Marco Bertaglia at March 30. 2008
A large group of people in Peru, with support from a Democratic School in Germany, and from people in other countries, such as Belgium, Italy, etc., is planning to start a democratic school in Peru, the third one in Latin America, the first in Peru.

A representative person, Marco Bertaglia, Italian, living in Belgium, is planning to come to IDEC 2008 in Vancouver, so as to build bridges, make contacts, and he wishes to present the project and seek support, moral and otherwise.

This is the first step, new information will be added during the next weeks and months.

We would like to present a workshop and/or presentation on one day during the weekend 15-17 August.

Thank you for your kind consideration.

Hello Marco,

Anyone can present through the open space
system at the conference.  The on-line open space will happen sometime soon and you will be able to use that as well if you would like.

Best wishes for the new school in Peru!  Where in Peru will it be?

Hello, I live in Lima, Perú. I'm very interested in your project. I would like to know more about it because I have an educational project about art, ecology and education; so, I'm studyng alternative models of education. Do you have a website or is there someone I can contact in Peru?

Thank you. Good luck!

Hello
I am wondering what the schedule is for the conference coming up in Vancouver this summer. What day do we arrive? When will a schedule of events be available? I would like to start booking airfare for the event. Thanks!

The Online Open-Space and schedule will be up on the site later this week.

You are welcome to arrive any day you like, the 11th is the first day that any scheduled activities will take place.  The 10th is the earlier that anyone will be checking in to the accommodations at UBC (so far) and everyone will leave on the 18th.  You are welcome to spend more or less time in Vancouver, as I'm sure many people will be coming early and sticking around to enjoy the city.

Make sure you register soon cause our mid-morning bird rate is closing on June 30th and prices will increase a fair bit.
