Windsor House Live
| Members from Canada’s leading democratic K-12 public school, Windsor House, will be on site during IDEC 2008, running a mini space for participants, aged 6 and up. WH-Live will be the IDEC program geared to the interest of younger Participants. Adults taking part in IDEC 2008 are also welcome to take part in WH-Live in any variety of ways. |
Themes will include:
- Planning the schedule (open space)
- Running of the school (school meetings, and judicial committee – which will deal with conflicts that may arise).
- Scheduled activities: such as, visual art classes, theatre, swimming, music, plus much more.
- In short, it will be FUN!
STAFF: The volunteer staff will consist of Windsor House alumni, current Windsor House teenagers, parents and staff.
Windsor House is a parent-participation, democratic, academically non-coercive
school. It is publically funded and is for ages 5 to 18. http://whs.at.org
