Reschool Yourself - Self-education for grown-ups:
(Meet in Lobby of Forestry) How can one adult's pursuit of self-education and happiness inspire others do the same? Many grown-ups wish they had the self-assurance and knowledge that they would have gained through democratic education. Melia Dicker hopes to convince them that it's never too late to give yourself the education you never had. This school year, she'll return to her childhood classrooms in California and travel around the world pursuing learning and happiness. She will document the project through an online journal (www.reschoolyourself.com) and film. Come discuss how Reschool Yourself can reach the greatest number of other adults and inspire them to re-educate themselves intentionally.
